Gordan Griffith

  I started DJ'ing at my High School in 1987.  I worked off tape cassettes and a powerful home stereo system.  I've always had a passion for music and an ease for being in front of large groups of people. 

When I was 21 I worked for a DJ company in the Portland area, still working off tape cassettes.  This is where I learned the art of weddings and worked for this company for two years.  I took a break to chase my work career and didn't get back into DJ'ing until around 1998.  This happened because my DJ was terrible and to this day, I've never forgotten it.  So shortly after my wedding I purchased all my equipment and did a friend's Company Holiday party.  I was approached by a couple clients at that initial event about weddings and Amour Audio took off from there.  

I have a wife and two daughters that keep me grounded.  My greatest joy is just being able to ensure that all couples I help through their big day do not end up with the same negative memories of their DJ that I had.  I'm all about FUN....FUN....FUN!
